MARP
Mixed-reality Archaeology Research Platform
Mixed-reality Archaeology Research Platform
MARP, Mixed-reality Archaeology Research Platform, uses AI glasses to provide a hands-free field assistant to help archaeologists document discoveries, capture photos, and identify artifacts while continuing their work. MARP's first-person view sharing can also improve collaboration, education, and public awareness of archaeology.
MARP is specifically designed for archaeologists and uniquely integrates LiDAR, AI photo identification, and a virtual museum.
With MARP, archaeologists can work faster, better protect fragile sites, and share discoveries with the world in ways that were not previously possible.
